BEF Leads Private Sector Capacity Building on Reintegration and Job Placement for Return Migrant Workers

Bangladesh Employers’ Federation (BEF), with support from the International Labour Organization (ILO) Reintegration for Migrant Workers Project and the Government of Switzerland, successfully organized a Capacity Building Program for the Private Sector on Job Placement and Reintegration of Return Migrant Workers on Thursday, 29 May 2025, at MCCI’s Gulshan Office, Dhaka.

Bangladesh Employers’ Federation (BEF) in collaboration with ILO Country office for Bangladesh have successfully organize and facilitate a legal clinic to discuss and exchange on issues related to labour laws and ILS with BEF member firms from different sectors as part of a project titled as “Support to strengthen the Labour Law and Regulatory Affairs Cell (LLRAC)”.

Condolence Message on the Sad Demise of Mr. Syed Manzur Elahi

Bangladesh Employers’ Federation (BEF) is deeply saddened by the passing of Mr. Syed Manzur Elahi, a distinguished industrialist and business leader. He passed away on Wednesday, March 12, 2025, at Gleneagles Hospital in Singapore at 9:30 AM Singapore time (7:30 AM Bangladesh time). Inna lillahi wa inna ilaihi rajeun. His loss will be profoundly felt both personally and nationally, especially within the business community and by all who had the privilege of knowing him. A quiet mentor to many, his business acumen, integrity, and kindness remain an enduring example adding immense value to strengthening corporate governance and empowering various social organisations.
