Bangladesh Employers’ Federation (BEF), in collaboration with the International Labour Organization (ILO) Country Office for Bangladesh, organized a discussion on Living Wage and dissemination of the “Report of the Meeting of Experts on Wage Policies, Including Living Wages (Geneva, 19–23 February 2024)” on Tuesday, 17 September 2024, at BEF’s Motijheel Office. Mr. Farooq Ahmed, Secretary-General and CEO, BEF, made the welcome remarks and moderated the event. Representatives from the ILO presented the findings of their report through a comprehensive presentation. Later, an open discussion took place where workers’ and employers’ representatives engaged in a valuable discussion. The meeting ended with closing remarks from BEF and a call to lunch.
