BEF in collaboration with the Sylhet Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) organized a Training of Trainers (ToT) on Business and Financial Module for Migrant workers on February 20, 2022 at the conference room of SCCI, Sylhet. Mr. Syed Falah Uddin Ali Ahmed, Senior Vice-President of SCCI inaugurated the training. Representatives from DEMO, Sylhet; TTC Sylhet; TSC Sylhet; Tony Khan Institute; UCEP Sylhet; BRAC; READO Bangladesh; IDEA; SDM Foundation; SCCI; Sylhet MRC attended the day-long training.
BEF, as one of the ILO’s tripartite constituencies of government, employers, and workers are implementing some activities under the project titled, “Application of Migration Policy for Decent Work of Migrant Workers” of the ILO.
The objective of this ToT is to train officials of government organizations and Civil Society Organizations, who then in the future can conduct training programs for the migrant workers and their family members in different districts and thana levels to help in proper decision making on starting up a business and future constructive investments
