Bangladesh Employers’ Federation (BEF), in collaboration with the National Productivity Organization (NPO), Ministry of Industry with the technical assistance from Asian Productivity Organization (APO), Japan organized a 3-day long training program on Lean Manufacturing System for the mid-level managers from different industry sectors on October 25-27, 2022 at Conference Hall, BEF, Chamber building, Motijheel, Dhaka. Mr. Sugumaran Muniretnam (PhD), Productivity Improvement Consultant APO, Japan facilitated the program as resource person.

The overall objectives of the program were to share the concept and knowledge on Lean Manufacturing System and applications among the selected participants those are working for industry.

Mr. Mr. Muhammad Mesbahul Alam, Director General (Additional Secretary), National Productivity Organization (NPO) was present as the Chief Guest. Mr. Saidul Islam Additional Secretary-General hosted the inaugural session. A total of 43 participants attended the program.
