BEF organizes “Boot Camp and Pitch Workshop”

Bangladesh Employers’ Federation (BEF), in collaboration with Jamalpur Govt. Technical School & College with the technical assistance from Skills 21 Project of ILO, Dhaka, organized and started a 6-day long Incubating Entrepreneurs “Boot Camp and Pitch Workshop” with the startup entrepreneurs on September 3-8, 2022 at Conference Hall, Jamalpur TSC, Bazrapur, Jamalpur. Mr. Joha Jamilur Rahman, Sr. Training Coordinator, BEF and Ruman Ishtiak Rafeen, SME Specialist, facilitated the program as resource persons.

Dr. Engr. Md. Abul Hashem, Principal, Jamalpur TSC chaired the inaugural session. Mr. Mohammad Mokhlesur Rahman, ADC-General, Jamalpur presented as chief guest and Md. Nurul Huda Lablu, Word counselor, Jamalpur Pourashava as special guest.

The objectives of the program are to mentor incubates for developing business incubation center, design processes to nurture businesses from idea generation to start-up companies through a comprehensive business support program, present business ideas by the startup youth entrepreneurs in front of an expert panel comprising Chamber of Commerce, Employers, ILO, BEF and Govt. officials, and facilitate the learning and experience sharing of the boot camp participants to pitch their startup ideas. A total of 20 participants (Female-08, Male-12) attended the program as incubatees.
