Bangladesh Employers’ Federation (BEF), in collaboration with Sylhet Technical School and College, with the support of the Skills 21 Project of ILO, Dhaka, organized and conducted a day-long Planning Workshop with Sylhet TSC, Institutional Management Advisory Board (IMAB) and Employers Forum (EF) on December 12, 2022, at Conference Hall, Sylhet TSC. Mr. Joha Jamilur Rahman, Sr. Training Coordinator, BEF and Mr. Ruman Ishtiak Rafeen, SME Specialist, moderated the session.

The objectives of the workshop were to develop an action plan for smooth operation of the institute, and support and give quality inputs to institutes to implement demand-driven skills program as per local labor market needs.

Mr. Mr. Alimul Ahsan Chowdhury, President, EF, other members of EF, Mr. Mr. Abidur Rahman, State officer, BSCIC, Sylhet, Mr. Ahmad Zamy, members of IMAB, Mr. Kazi Mohsin Kabir, representatives, and PWDs participated in the workshop. Engr. Santush Chandra Debnath, Principal (In-charge), Sylhet TSC was present as the host. 22 representatives from institutes, government officials, local business chambers, and employers took part in the workshop.
