Labour Law and Regulatory Affairs Cell of Bangladesh Employers’ Federation (BEF), with technical assistance from the Labour Administration and Working Condition Cluster (LAWC) of the ILO Country Office for Bangladesh, organized a day-long Dissemination and Validation Workshop on Training Needs Assessment Report on 12 January 2026, at the MCCI’s Conference Hall, Gulshan, Dhaka. The initiative was supported under the Team Europe Initiative (TEI) – a joint effort of the European Union, Denmark, the Netherlands, and Sweden – on Decent Work in Bangladesh.
The overall objective of the workshop was to share, review, take inputs, and validate the Training Needs Assessment (TNA) report developed by BEF. The insights gathered during this session would guide future initiatives to deliver demand-driven training and advisory services across various sectors.
The session opened with welcome remarks by Mr. Joha Jamilur Rahman, Head of Training, BEF, followed by sharing objectives by Ms. Rukshana Yasmin Arzoo, Senior Programme Officer, ILO. Advocate Zayeema Khan, Senior Associate, Legal Counsel, presented the report, after which participants engaged in an open discussion to share their feedback and identify priority training needs.
The workshop concluded with closing remarks by Mr. Joha Jamilur Rahman, who summarized the key takeaways, outlined the way forward, and delivered a vote of thanks, acknowledging the valuable contributions of all participants.
A total of 30 participants attended the workshop, including 23 males and 7 females, representing diverse industries.
