BEF, in collaboration with Bangladesh Sweden Polytechnic Institute Skills 21 Project of ILO

Bangladesh Employers’ Federation (BEF), in collaboration with Bangladesh Sweden Polytechnic Institute, Kaptai, Rangamati Hill Tracts, with the technical assistance from Skills 21 Project of ILO, Dhaka, organized and conducted a 10-day long Incubating Entrepreneurs’ “Boot Camp” with startup entrepreneurs on March 13-23, 2022 at Conference Hall, BS Polytechnic Institute, Kaptai, Rangamati Hill Tract. The objectives of the program were to (i) mentor incubates for developing business incubation center, and (ii) design processes to nurture businesses from idea generation to start-up companies through a comprehensive business support program and also help them in getting established and speeding up their growth and success.

Mr. Joha Jamilur Rahman, Sr. Training Coordinator, BEF, and Mr. Ruman Ishtiak Rafeen, SME Specialist, facilitated the program as resource persons.

Ms. Muntasir Jahan, UNO, Kaptai Upazilla graced the event as the Chief Guest. The Special Guests present were Mr. Abdul Wadud, President, Rangamati Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Engr. Abdul Latif, Chairman, Kaptai Union Porishad, and Mr. Arun Talukdar, Headman, Waggachora, Kaptai. Mr. Mohammad Abdul Matin Howlader, Principal, Bangladesh Sweden Polytechnic Institute, Kaptai, Rangamati Hill Tracts chaired the inaugural session. 24 participants (Female-07, Male-17) attended the program as incubates.
