Bangladesh Employers’ Federation (BEF), in collaboration with the Institute of Marine Technology (IMT), Citoly, Boitpur, Bagerhat, with the technical assistance from Skills 21 Project of ILO, Dhaka, organized a 6-day long Incubating Entrepreneurs’“Boot Camp and Pitch Workshop” with startup entrepreneurs during October 3-8, 2022 at Conference Hall, IMT Bagerhat. Mr. Joha Jamilur Rahman, Senior Training Coordinator, BEF and Mr. Ruman Ishtiak Rafeen, SME Specialist, facilitated the program as resource persons.

The objectives of the program were to (i) mentor incubates for developing business incubation center, and (ii) design processes to nurture businesses from idea generation to start-up companies through a comprehensive business support program and also help them in getting established and accelerating their growth and success.

Mr. Md. Majharul Hasan Khan, Acting Principal, IMT Bagerhat chaired the inaugural session. Mr. Md. Shahinuzzaman, ADC (Education & ICT) was present as the Chief Guest. The Special Guests present were Mr. Md. Musabbirul Islam, UNO-Bagerhat sadar, Mr. Monwar Hasan Tagor, Chairman, Bemarta, Union Parishad. A total of 20 participants (Female-08, Male-12) attended the program as incubatees.
