Bangladesh Employers’ Federation (BEF), in collaboration with Sylhet Technical School & College, with the technical assistance from Skills 21 Project of ILO, Dhaka, organized and conducted a 10-day long Incubating Entrepreneurs’ “Boot Camp” with startup entrepreneurs on February 13-23, 2022 at Conference Hall, Sylhet TSC, Technical Road, Sylhet. The objectives of the program were to (i) mentor incubates for developing business incubation center, and (ii) design processes to nurture businesses from idea generation to start-up companies through a comprehensive business support program and also help them in getting established and accelerating their growth and success. Mr. Joha Jamilur Rahman, Sr. Training Coordinator, BEF and Ruman Ishtiak, SME Specialist, facilitated the program as resource persons.
Mr. Alimul Ahsan Chowdhury, Director, Sylhet Chamber of Commerce & Industry and President, NASCIB, Sylhet graced the event as the Chief Guest. The Special Guests present were Ms. Sharnalata Ray, President, Sylhet Women Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Mr. Towfiq Box Lipon, Councilor, Sylhet City Corporation, Mr. Gunjan Dallakoti, Deputy Country Director, ILO, and Md. Anisuzzaman, Program Officer, ILO. Mr. Santush Chandra Debnath, Principal, Sylhet TSC chaired the inaugural session. A total of 21 participants (Female-2, Male-19) attended the program as incubates.
