Bangladesh Employers’ Federation (BEF) and National Productivity Organization (NPO), Ministry of Industries, Bangladesh Government jointly organized a seminar on “Productivity for Better Future” on 19 April 2022 at its Motijheel Secretariat office. The objective of the seminar was to promote productivity and quality and to share knowledge and experience on productivity issues among the participants. A total of 44 participants attended the seminar. Mr. Muhammad Arifuzzaman, Senior Research Officer, NPO delivered a keynote presentation on the concept of productivity and its relationship with development.

Mr. Muhammad Mesbahul Alam, Director General, NPO; Mr. Farooq Ahmed, Secretary-General & CEO, BEF; and Mr. Mirza Nurul Ghani Shovon, President, National Association of Small and Cottage Industries of Bangladesh (NASCIB) were present and spoke in the inaugural session of the seminar.
